Continuing Education

Rural Health Continuing Education Programs focus on a wide range of topics important to rural health advocates, including rural migrant and immigrant health, leadership and management skills, community health needs assessments, program evaluation, grant writing technical assistance, and more. PORH also offers the Swimming Pool Pesticide Applicators Certification and Recertification Training Program in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, which trains swimming pool pesticide applicators in the safe application of pesticides at public bathing places.
