The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) launched a new webpage to help Medicaid recipients understand upcoming federal changes that will take effect January 1, 2027. Some individuals may be required to renew their coverage more frequently and meet new work and/or community engagement requirements to maintain eligibility.
Now is a great time to encourage patients, clients, and community members to:
- Update their contact information with DHS.
- Watch for official mail, phone calls, and text messages from DHS.
- Stay informed about upcoming eligibility and renewal requirements.
