Annual Pennsylvania Rural Health Awards
The Rural Health Awards Committee presents five established awards annually to recognize one rural health program and four individuals who have made substantial contributions to rural health in Pennsylvania:
- State Rural Health Leader of the Year
- Community Rural Health Leader of the Year
- Community Rural Health Program of the Year
- Legislator of the Year
- Rural Health Hero of the Year

Presents 2012 Annual Pennsylvania Rural Health
Awards! A community health advocate, a
community mental health center, a Penn State distinguished professor, a
chiropractor, and a Critical Access Hospital were the recipients of the 2012
Annual Pennsylvania Rural Health Awards.
The award winners were honored
at a luncheon ceremony during the Pennsylvania Rural Health Leadership
Celebration held to commemorate the second annual National Rural Health
Day on November 15, 2012.
